Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 2 years by a current permanent Army employee Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of 5 years Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years however return rights may be impacted.
Duties
Coordinate and publish all Garrison Operations Orders for ceremonies, events, and activities.
Develop the ceremony support plan to supervise and monitor special events.
Conduct centralized oversight of Garrison operations to provide the Garrison Commander with assurance that Installation Management Command (IMCOM) and Senior Commander requirements and priorities are resourced and enforced.
Coordinate and complete all command operational reports including, but not limited to, Defense Readiness Reporting System-Army, Installation Status Reporting for services, mission capability, and infrastructure.
Maintain Garrison level critical documents such as reports, operations orders, plans, procedures, and key organizational decisions under IMCOM knowledge management guidelines.
Develop, coordinate, and execute installation level exercises to test for installation compliance and readiness in accordance with published All Hazard Plans/contingency plans
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential".
- Must complete Federal Emergency Management Agency training classes to certify for EOC duty.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; 1. Assisting in preparing and executing daily reports, taskings, and briefings to ensure mission analysis are in accordance with policy and procedural guidelines. 2. Preparing orders such as Operation Orders, Warning Orders, Fragmentary Orders, Tasking Orders, Contingency Operation Plans and/or Emergency Management, Antiterrorism Force Protection issues, and Continuity of Operations. 3. - Developing training exercises for emergent events. 4. Managing tasks to meet short suspense's to respond to changes in operational requirements.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
