This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Administrative Services,
Office of Executive Management, Installations and Support Services in Washington, D.C. They are also responsible for
planning, developing, organizing, implementing, directing and evaluating critical programs and
functions pertaining to records management.
Duties
The incumbent assigns work to subordinates and provides guidance/direction when needed to ensure understanding and compliance.
Serves as the Agency Clearance Officer for OMB. clearance under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980. In this capacity, the incumber is responsible ensuring the prompt, efficient, and effective implementation and upkeep of information policies and information collection responsibilities established under the Paperwork Reduction Act.
Establishes and provides Agency directives, forms, reports management policies, procedures,
and programs consistent with General Services Administration (GSA) policies and for
coordinating GSA Clearance of SBA's Interagency reports.
Establishes policies and procedures for and managing the SBA printing and publications
program in concert with the regulations of the Joint Committee on Printing.
Serves as Chief, Records Management Division (RMD), Office of Administrative Services,
responsible for developing and administering Agency-wide policies and procedures for SBA's
directives, reports, forms, office of Management and Budget (OMB) clearance, printing, and
publications management, paper-based records, electronic records, micrographics, delegations of
authority, Federal Register document;' and correspondence programs.
Requirements

- You must be a current SBA career/conditional competitive service employee.
- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- You may be required to serve a one-year supervisory probationary period.
- This is a non-bargaining unit position.
- This Is not a (drug) testing designated position (TDP)
Qualifications
GS-14: I have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector:
*Developing records and information management operating regulations, policies and procedures to provide technical advice and guidance to program staff,
*Managing records at all stages of the records management lifecycle including creation, use, disposal, and storage,
*Identifying procedures and/or methodologies to improve Records and Information Management program effectiveness and efficiency, and
*Conducting records management quality control such as reviews, compliance audits, and/or risk assessments.
