You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) in the COMMUNICATIONS & NETWORKS DEPARTMENT, CODE 55000 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will manage, lead, and perform work that involves developing, delivering, or supporting IT systems and services.
You will provide expert technical and programmatic advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and stakeholders on critical IT/Cybersecurity issues.
You will acquire, manage, and allocate resources to consult with customers to refine functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
You will assist the Navy Enterprise Network (NEN) IPT Lead with managing cost, schedule, and performance of IPT deliverables, and communicating execution challenges early to the Sponsor, Division 553 Leadership, and team.
Requirements

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 802, proficiency level ADVANCED the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Work with the Navy Enterprise Netwrok (NEN) to ensure proper oversight and management of existing contracts, including task development, and planning for future contract actions.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Acquire, manage, and allocate resources to consult with customers to refine functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Manage, lead, and perform work that involves developing, delivering, or supporting IT systems and services.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Provide expert technical and programmatic advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and stakeholders on critical IT/Cybersecurity issues.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level a GS-12 or pay band NO-04 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in providing technical and programmatic advice, guidance, and/or recommendations to management and stakeholders on critical IT/Cybersecurity issues and Navy Enterprise Network (NEN).
