You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST for the OFFICE OF ASSISTANT INSPECTOR GENERAL, COMMANDING OFFICER of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.
Duties
You will serve as a Command Evaluator/Inspector in the Assistant Inspector General Office at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division.
You will evaluate key organizational program/projects and issues concerning administrative functions, administrative program operation, financial analysis,
business operation and resource use.
You will plan, schedule and carry out assigned projects regarding programs/organizational effectiveness and involving complex features of program implementation.
You will perform financial, performance, and compliance reviews assigned of command/activity/detachments operations in accordance with Navy/NAVSEA standards in accordance with review objectives.
You will gather evidence, perform analyses, and document evaluation of work performed in work papers to support the resulting findings and recommendations written in the report.
You will participate in the management of the division's Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Hotline Program.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For the NT-05 pay band: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting internal reviews, inspections, and audits of administrative and financial programs to identify deficiencies and develop reports and recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations for an organization.
For the NT-04 pay band: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing administrative and financial program audit reports to draw conclusions and present findings and recommendations to management for an organization.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For the NT-04 pay band only:
- Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR
- Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; OR
- Successful completion of an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled; OR
- A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
