This position is assigned to the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR); Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC); CNRSE Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia. The purpose of this position is to manage all aspects of Category C (Cat C) movie program operations including movie scheduling, sales, special events and concession operations with responsibility for the economic and efficient operation of the program (e.g., programming, resale, equipment and facilities maintenance and repair).

Requirements

  • Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
  • Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
  • You must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
  • May be required to pass pre-employment examinations.
  • Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National.
  • A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.
  • Must have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
  • Must live within the local commuting area (50 miles) of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.

Qualifications

Experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to perform the full range of supervisory duties. Ability to deal effectively with subordinates, supervisory, and management officials and patrons. Knowledge of computer databases, spreadsheet applications, Microsoft programs, internet research, and SAP. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Knowledge of CNIC organizational structure and mission(s) of organizations. Knowledge of CNIC's EEO policy and procedures. Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and non-appropriated fund policies, regulations, administrative practices, and procedures related to management, planning, scheduling, and coordinating of special events and recreational programs. Ability to perform the full range of functions associated with operating a movie program. Knowledge of CNIC Cash Handling and Food Handling procedures. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience.
