This position is located in the Marketing and Communications Branch, of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department, SUBASE, Kings Bay, Georgia. The purpose of this position is to assist in producing publicity including graphics for flyers, brochures, posters, etc. and to provide assistance in writing articles and publicity photographs for the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department.

Duties

1. Responsible for assisting in the production of graphic layouts, designs, preparation of posters, flyers, pamphlets, charts, graphs, banners, newsletters, brochures, etc., using a computer system associated graphic software. 2. Assists in taking photographs of publicized events for MWR. 3. Provides assistance in marketing strategies including an outreach program of public interaction. 4. Assists in the distribution and dissemination of information regarding MWR activities, including distribution of flyers, newsletters and other publicity. 5. Maintains MWR display holders and participates in outreach programs base wide. 6. Responsible for MWR SUBASE indoctrinations. Assists in providing updated welcome aboard materials for new patrons. 7. Provides clerical assistance as needed. 8. Composes and sets up marquees to promote facilities and events. 9. Incumbent performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
• Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
