About the Position: Serve as the focal point for all parts and repairs acquisition, parts and supplies warehousing. Tacoma is a diverse city nestled between Seattle and the state capital of Olympia. Duties

Provide supply support for the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment. Initiate procurement requests and make purchases utilizing Blanket Purchase Agreements. Input information into the Defense Medical Logistics Supply System data terminal and other automated data systems concerning work orders. Schedule and initiate action for physical inventories. Serve as calibration coordinator maintaining schedules for calibration requirements for equipment. Receive, identify, issue, and store parts, tools, and equipment. Use computer software applications to produce a variety of documents and reports related to supply management.

Requirements

• This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
• Immunization screening may be required.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• This position has a requirement to lift up to 60 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination. A candidate selected to this position will be required to sign a statement consenting to annual seasonal influenza vaccination.

In addition to meeting the specialized experience above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirement listed below: Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist.
