You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department (JX) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. ***Open to applicants of ORG and sub-org of JX (Includes all Divisions, Branches, and Sections within the Department of JX).

Duties

You will plan and manage complex technical projects which contribute to the organization's mission, goals, and objectives. You will determine manpower, facilities, equipment and funding requirements for assigned projects using the Enterprise Resources Management (ERP) system and other applicable tools. You will interface with division Technical Program Manager(s) to facilitate receipt of tasks and funding for technical projects. You will ensure assigned tasks are within cost and schedule commitments as negotiated with the customer(s).

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating project resource requirements to develop, plan, and execute project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of program operations.
