About the Position: Serves under the Supervisor of the Funds Control and Integration Division (FCID), Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command (HQ TRADOC) G8 performing analysis of funds distributions and a variety of budgetary and financial system functions in support of tenant and off post customers located at HQ TRADOC, Fort Eustis, VA.
Duties
As a Resource Analyst, you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list:
Oversee the financial systems, policies, operational procedures, and/or budget for the agencies.
Brief/prepare reports that include the status of funds, expenses, and /or financial obligations that is required by the organization.
Formulates and implements financial systems and policies, directs operational procedures/actions, implements policies and systems directed by higher headquarters, and continuously monitors actions and reports.
Monitors the use and rate of expenditure of budgeted funds through continuing dialogue with management and administrative staff, review of documentation, examination of records, and reviewing various automated financial systems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment.
- Must be able to obtain the Financial Management Level 2 certification within 24 months from hire date.
- Temporary Duty (TDY), up to 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Work which includes 1) Perform analysis and/or reconciliation of financial data, obligation, and/or develop budget report to provide detailed statistical data; 2) Obtain financial data from financial systems in support of tracking funds; 3) Perform data analysis of financial information using Microsoft products such as Excel pivot tables and/or data analytics tools such as Power BI; 4) Monitor budget accounts to ensure funds are available and effectively utilized and redistributing funds to prevent under or over obligations; AND 5) Research and/or interpret financial policies, regulations, or laws to resolve financial issues.
