This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing Title 10 Building Partner Capacity congressional notifications and inquiries, and evaluates operations for effectiveness and efficiency
Duties
As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Prepares Title 10 Building Partner Capacity congressional notifications and inquiries, and evaluates operations for effectiveness and efficiency.
Develops projected notification and coordination timelines based on strategic and organizing guidance.
Advises leadership of the extent and type of participation in activities with members of Congress, type of information to be presented, and prepares response to congressional requests for information.
Recommends adjustments to align with changes in guidance and/or maintain efficient coordination and notification.
Provides recommendations for program changes that ensure that available resources are utilized in a manner that best supports the priorities of the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF).
Conducts research and performs major program evaluations affecting the development of long-range program plans or resolves issues affecting principle program objectives..

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Justifying and evaluating funding allocations for various Security Cooperation (SC) programs and activities
Overseeing a long-term program processes, plans, and evaluating operations for effectiveness and efficiency
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Candidates for this position must clearly demonstrate in their resume that they possess specialized experience
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
