You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the UNMANNED MARITIME SYSTEMS PROGRAM OFFICE (PMS 406) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS.
Duties
You will develop and implements financial management plans, procedures, and programs to facilitate the effective, efficient, and timely application of financial resources to facilitate accomplishment of the organization's mission.

You will develop select internal guidance and processes in relation to the execution of financial resources and other internal operations.
You will utilize the DoD 14-R regulations to navigate through the DoD financial management process as applied to assigned programs or activities.
You will utilize the DoD 5000 regulations to navigate through the DoD acquisition process as applied to assigned acquisition programs or activities.
You will conducts research for the development of top-level budget summaries during each budget cycle outlining major changes and tracking current and future capabilities.
You will reviews and oversees the financial integrity, timeliness, and accuracy of information contained in accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.
You will continue to mentor and train the business financial management team.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a Financial Management Level 2 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading or coordinating the analysis of financial data or reports to identify program funding or the financial condition, trends, or problems of an organization.
