About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army NETCOM Headquarters ACOFS G-2, Intelligence ACOFS G-2, Intelligence COMSEC & CI Division with a duty location of Fort Huachuca, AZ.

Duties

Provides intelligence support to the Cyber Watch Current Operations as required. Applies expert knowledge in conjunction of overseeing the proper functioning, interactivity and operation of all NETCOM hardware, software and command and control networks, telecommunications and intelligence systems and architectures. Provides continuous operational oversight, operational situational awareness and mission status reporting to NETCOM. Drafts, coordinates, and gains approval for daily intelligence analysis reports to the Commander and other senior leaders of NETCOM. Makes critical judgments of operations and intelligence products, formulate recommendations that may have national impact or consequences, and transmit those recommendations clearly and concisely to NETCOM leadership. Leverages unique intelligence and cyber automation systems and databases, as well as joint and National Foreign Intelligence Community agencies. Develops tailored intelligence and information products.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on an SSBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
• May require occasional shift work, holiday work, and compensated overtime for contingency exercises or Force Protection Condition (FPCON) levels.
• The IT classification for this position is IT-I.
