You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in ORG Code N51 or N52 in the Modernization and Installation Department (N00) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, Port Hueneme Division; Mayport, San Diego, or Norfolk detachment.

Duties
You will serve as a Team Lead providing expert technical services for Integration, Test and Evaluation, Life Cycle Engineering and Logistics support of Surface Combat ships, Combat or Weapon Systems and support equipment,
You will manage teams to ensure the accuracy of technical tasks assigned to each availability and that planned actions and reports are accomplished in an accurate and timely manner,
You will provide technical services to ensure Combat Systems and their elements are successfully integrated on Surface Combatants during availability and modernization events,
You will ensure the generation and issue of tasking and associated funding to Naval activities and contractors providing support services,
You will perform technical review on availability planning materials, execution processes, and supporting technical documentation utilizing inputs from numerous suppliers to ensure required services are in place to support planned installations,
You will provide technical expertise during execution phased of availability and modernization events to resolve issues impacting the success of the evolutions.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalent) or grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing engineering requirements to develop and implement test plans for shipboard combat or weapon systems projects.
