This position is for the Director, Administrative Resource Center (DCCPS), Administrative Resource Center (ARC), within the Office of Management (OM), Office of the Director, National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health and functions as Director of an Administrative Resource Center within the OM, and is responsible for the administrative and business management of one or more of the Institute's divisions, office, or center.
Duties
Provide input in the formulation of the office's budget and present/defend resource requirements needed to carry out the long-term goals and objectives.
Plan, direct and evaluate the management aspects of the office's operational planning, program development, and administrative and management services programs.
Review program priorities and oversee the establishment of systems for evaluation of program effectiveness.
Advise senior management on workforce issues in the areas of planning, training, and program evaluation.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day work performed by the Administrative Resource Center staff and contract staff.
Manage the fiscal spending activities of the office.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship requirement or proof of being a U.S. National must be met by closing date.

Qualifications
You qualify at the GS-15 level, if you meet the following qualification requirements:
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: developing administrative and business management goals, objectives, and plans; representing an organization on committees and work groups related to program planning and evaluation or resources management processes; advising management on workforce planning, training, or program evaluation issues; evaluating work assignments of subordinate staff; advising management officials on budgetary/fiscal policy that affects program operations; and ensuring that the financial management of grants and contracts are consistent with organizational policies.
