About the Position: This is a developmental position re-engineered at less than the full performance level for recruitment and training purposes. Performs duties in support of project management, control, coordination and execution of assigned projects. Projects vary in type and involve reconnaissance and feasibility studies, pre-construction engineering and design and construction of military and civil works projects.
Duties
In coordination with the PM, establishes a project task listing required to accomplish execution of the project within cost and time limitations.
Prepares a wide variety of project management reports for upward reporting, monthly project status reviews with customers, monthly PDB briefings, Command Management Review (CMR) data validation, and other project data calls as required.
Validates 90-day tasking list and activity schedules of various technical elements and compiles and prepares other reports as required.
Analyzes and takes actions in Primavera P6 for the proper interface with the Resident Manager System (RMS), the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS), and other upward reporting tools.
Meets and coordinates with the Project Manager, the Project Delivery Team and the Local Sponsor to collect and disseminate information about the project schedule and project issues needing resolution.

GS-07 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Knowledge of network analysis scheduling software sufficiently to input and retrieve pertinent program information for assigned projects; 2) Monitoring suspense dates, and; 3) Providing project management support. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Education: One full year of graduate level education with a major study in business management.
OR
Superior Academic Achievement: Successful completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. In order to be creditable under this provision, Superior Academic Achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled, such as that identified in Education above.
GS-09 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Utilizes network analysis scheduling software sufficiently to input and retrieve pertinent program information for assigned projects; 2) Responsible for efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of project schedules for design, construction, and studies; 3) Monitoring suspense dates, and; 4) Providing project management support. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. with a major study in business management or other fields related to the position to be filled.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
GS-11 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Performs duties as a Project Scheduler responsible for
the overall management of assigned projects utilizing network analysis scheduling software for design, construction and studies; 2) Plan and carry out the work independently, coordinate with others, and resolve problems as they occur, and; 3) Providing project management support. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. with a major study in business management or other fields related to the position to be filled.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
