About the position: This position will be assigned to the Eglin IT&T (Information, Tickets and Travel) Office.
Duties
Responsible for the efficient and economical operation of a large Information, Tickets and Tours (IT&T) program. Implements
higher level directives, formulates procedures and programs to ensure high standards of IT&T programs. Establishes, reviews,
evaluates, and revises a comprehensive IT&T program to meet the needs of military members and their families, military retirees and their families, civilian employees and their families as well as guests of authorized patrons. Coordinates IT&T programs with
off base recreational facilities and attractions to obtain the best possible price for IT&T patrons. Provides free, regular price and/or discount tickets to local theaters, sporting events, theme parks and museums. Provides tours to local and regional points of
interest. In coordination with the Force Support marketing office conducts IT&T customer surveys; develops marketing strategy to
meet established goals and objectives; and publicizes IT&T programs in a manner to encourage maximum participation. Operates
Force Support tour vehicles or contracts for non-staff tour escorts. Establishes financial goals commensurate with market analysis of the area and region. Prepares budget, analyzes financial results and revises budget as required. Manages real property resources and imitates renovations and improvements. Responsible for work force management, recruitment and staff training. Responsible
for establishing and maintaining an internal control system to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud, waste and abuse in
regards to ticket inventories and funds accountability. Ensures IT&T tour vehicles are maintained in accordance with Air Force and
Florida safety and maintenance standards and that only qualified motor vehicle operators are used. Performs other related duties as
assigned.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Three years of progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical or other work that has provided a general
knowledge of management principles and practices; a thorough general knowledge of the goals, principles, methods and techniques
of the broad field of recreation; and a thorough understanding of the recreation and leisure interests and motivations of individuals and groups. Must have progressively responsible experience in a military or civilian recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the IT&T specialty. Must have responsible experience in developing or administering a budget program. Must
have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing and be able to read, speak and write English. Must possess skill in
dealing with the public. Must satisfactorily complete installation, state, and national criminal background checks. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
