You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGER in the of MARCORSYSCOM.

Duties

You will direct resolution of complex financial and accounting issues and assists program office personnel in dealing with and resolving complex financial problems. You will conduct intensive analysis and evaluations on various financial aspects of their respective programs. You will assist program office personnel with effective and efficient advice in the area of audit. You will perform the administrative and human resources management functions relative to the staff supervised. You will provide advice and counsel to workers related to work and administrative matters.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performs a full range of administrative and technical duties to include: identify and justify additional personnel requirements; manage personal hiring; negotiate and finalize AcqDemo objective and ratings.
