Duties

You will provide oversight for the development and management of audit, property, and financial management policy and procedures within the organization. Provides accounting and audit remediation support to Portfolio Managers while addressing significant, sensitive, and potentially adverse internal and external audit findings and recommendations. Oversee all aspects of acquisition property accountability, visibility, auditability for assets procured and managed by Marine Corps Systems Command and supported Marine Corps Program Executive Offices. Conduct independent and objective evaluations of financial management and accounting operations and their underlying risks.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
