About the Position: This position reviews and oversees activities related to DHA Market standardization, integration, and optimization by interfacing with specific Market Clinical Management Team (CMT) Leads, Product Line Leaders (PLLs), Product Line Representatives (PLRs), MTF Group Practice Managers (GPM), MTF Healthcare Administrators, MTF Business Offices, MTF Clinical Operations and MTF Managed Care teams and is located at Portsmouth, VA.
Duties
Serve as the advisor, coordinator, and facilitator for DHA Market level schedule/template management, referral management and central appointment management.
Facilitate planning, delivery, and training for the DHA Market as it relates to clinical optimization.
Participate in day-to-day management discussions, decisions and policymaking.
Possess knowledge of existing and emerging management tools and programs that enhance the quality, availability, and value, of clinic services.
Responsible for monitoring systems, policies, and procedures to meet established standards.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes working in a medical treatment facility, advising on Health Care System policy, procedures and quality of service; optimizes healthcare delivery program by identifying, analyzing, documenting issues, patterns, and trends affecting the staffing, scheduling, clinic organization, quality of care and patient safety programs, and lack of standardization internal to each clinic and between clinics; preparing healthcare data quality reports/documents using various software programs; distributing and monitoring a variety of administrative taskers. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
