You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Technical Division with the Surface Operations Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties

You will analyze, interpret, and evaluate directives, correspondence, policies, instructions, and guides related to Logistics Reassignments (LR). You will analyze and develop metrics, statistics and status reports as a means for management to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of LR related programs and efforts. You will use statistical analysis software (SAS) to create Database Integrity projects that generate datasets and metrics to monitor and cleanse the data going through the LR process. You will screen and conduct analysis of data files and the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) for candidates NSNs to be transferred in the LR process. You will represent NAVSUP at meetings, conferences, and training events on matters related to LR.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supply Systems Analyst experience to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a comprehensive knowledge of the DoD and Navy supply system encompassing policy and procedures in order to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply systems programs and/or operations. Examples of specialzied experience include: 1) Utilizing statistical analysis software (SAS) to create Database Integrity projects that generate datasets and metrics to monitor and cleanse the data going through the LR process as well as other NAVYSUP business processes that are both up and downstream from the LR; 2) Screening and conducting analysis of data files and the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) for candidates NSNs to be transferred in the LR process; 3) Analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating directives, correspondence, policies, instructions, and guides related to Logistics Reassignments (LR); and 4) Representing NAVSUP at meetings, conferences, and training events on matters related to LR.
