About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Ground Combat Support R&S Directorate. Duties

Develop and coordinate integrated logistics support plans for vehicle systems programs. Monitor the logistics support analysis program to identify support systems requirements. Coordinate with technical specialists to develop corrective actions and recommend approaches to resolve logistics issues. Identify, plan, source, and implement logistics concepts, operations, and requirements. Analyze and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the Army logistics systems with respect to operational readiness. Manage assigned programs to support cost, schedule, and performance milestones.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: : One year of specialized experience which includes using supply chain or logistics automated systems to determine requirements necessary to support documentation development, acquisition, production, training, fielding, or sustainment of a system; or providing input to support the development of various life cycle logistics products. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Design InterfaceMaintenance Planning and ManagementOral CommunicationProduct Support ManagementSupply Support Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
