You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Current & Future Operations, Medical Operations and Plans of NAVMEDFORPAC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

You will support the Navy's global health engagement activities and requirements to support DoD's security cooperation strategies to build capabilities and cooperative relationships with allies and other international partners. You will provide planning and staffing support and coordination among subordinate commands for health services support for medical mobilization and contingency operations, peacetime, and backfill support requests. You will provide input for daily reporting of logistics situation report, medical report, daily intentions message and briefing material to leadership. You will assist with monitoring, evaluating and advising on all aspects of deployments, contingency planning, requests for forces, requests for support, platform management, and individual medical readiness within the NMFP area of responsibility.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning and/or executing global health and/or health security cooperation events in support of National Military or Combatant Command Strategy. Experience applying policies, procedures, practices, and directives related to the support of programs. Experience working with Time Phased Force Deployment Data to guide subordinate Commands on the importance of platform and individual readiness. Experience managing the Deployment Medicine Augmentation Program. Experience analyzing, identifying trends, and report data from Expeditionary Medicine Platform Readiness Training System (EMPARTS) or like system. Experience working with collaborative systems such as SharePoint, MS Teams and Microsoft Office products.
