You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DIVISION (BUDGET FORMULATION TEAM) of NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND.
Duties
You must interpret policy to include budgetary polices, procedures, regulations, directives, and instructions that impact a wide range of financial management functions.
You will brief management using Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint applications.
You will process funding transactions using financial management systems to include: Standard Accounting Budgeting and reporting System (SABRS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Command Financial Management System (CFMS).
You will perform duties related to Execution of Budget, perform Reconciliation, research and correct problem disbursements, and track funding.
You will provide information regarding status of funds while adhering to standard organizational budgetary, accounting, and financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations.
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge and understanding of budgetary polices, procedures and regulations. directives, and instructions that impact a wide range of financial management functions; 2) Utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint; and 3) Analyzing data in financial management systems Standard Accounting Budgeting and reporting System (SABRS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Command Financial Management System (CFMS).

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
