You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SECRUITY DIVISION of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will develop and recommend and/or implements procedures and practices to cover multiple security objectives.
You will identify and resolve physical security and entry control point issues.
You will respond to problems or questions that involves the implementation and execution of physical security guidelines within FRC East and its satellite locations.
You will provide technical expertise in physical security requirements and procedures.
You will test and review the performance of new protection systems and reports issues to their supervisor.
You will conduct preliminary investigations involving violations of physical security procedures and for suspect lost or stolen government properly; Conducts investigation, documents findings.
Requirements

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Reviewing analyzing, and resolving difficult and complex security problems; 2) Developing and recommending and/or implements procedures and practices to cover multiple security objectives; 3) Provides technical expertise in physical security requirements and procedures; 4) Elevating plans for improvements in physical security and Entry Control Points posts.
