You will serve as a Physical Occupational Health Specialist in the Command Operations Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will analyze and evaluate information for classification downgrading, declassification, and for the destruction of sensitive and secure information.
You will conduct training to the command's Electronic Key Management System / Communications Security Material System users on the proper handling, storage, and accountability of all CMS material, equipment, related devices and operating.
You will implement Information Security procedures (e.g., classification, marking, downgrading and declassification of technical documents or information) according to program requirements.
You will draft correspondence and submit reports concerning the security program.
You will prepare and maintain Electronic Key Management Systems/Key Management Infrastructure (EKMS/KMI) related reports, messages, correspondence, and files.
You will prepare and manage the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for all Communications Security (COMSEC) material or cryptographic equipment.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing Electronic Key Management Systems (EKMS) and Data Transfer Device (DTD) operations; 2) Applying a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to independently review and resolve physical, automation, and communications security problems; 3) Developing and implementing guidance on applying security policies, procedures, and methods to information management or communications security related matters; 4) Researching and analyzing data to monitor progress and inform higher ranking officials of the accomplishment of security objectives; and 5) Training others on security education and awareness to ensure proper security measures are followed.
