About the Position: As the Lead Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) at the Senior Commander Level, the incumbent manages the Sexual Harassment/ Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program for a typical serviced population of at least 10,000 which includes Soldiers and Family members, as well as Department of Army Civilians.
Duties
As a Supervisory SARC (Principal) (SAR-WF), you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list:
As the Installation Lead SARC, the incumbent is responsible for all SHARP case management, and co- chairing/overseeing the execution of the installation monthly Case Management Group (CMG)/Sexual Assau
Conduct case management activities providing mentorship and guidance to SARCs/VAs across the installation AOR.
Evaluate proposals for systems and/or programs required to meet existing or anticipated operational problems, challenges and changes in the operations environment.
The incumbent serves as the focal point for the installation AOR in the areas of sexual harassment and sexual assault prevention and response.
As a credentialed SARC, the incumbent is responsible to perform duties as a SARC as required and outlined in AR 600- 20 (24 July 2020), DoDI 6495.02, change 4 (11 September 2020) or any current SHARP regulatory guidance.
Incumbent is responsible for the full range of supervisory duties for a diverse population, to include exercising significant responsibilities in dealing with officials of other units or organizations, or in advising leadership of all levels.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment.
- Must maintain a valid state driver's license.
- May be required to complete a one year trial probationary period.
- May be required to complete a one year supervisory probation if not previously completed.
- Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 25% of the time.
- SHARP On Call.
- SHARP Certification.
- SHARP Appointment Orders.
- SHARP Background Checks.
- SHARP State Criminal History Repository Check (SCHRC).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
