About the Position: This will position will serve as a Supervisory Training Analyst within the Combined Arms Center for Training (CAC-T), Training Management Directorate (TMD), Fort Leavenworth, KS.
Duties
As a Supervisory Training Analyst, you will perform duties to include, but not limited to the following:
Serve as a Training Management Directorate (TMD) Senior Project Officer for selected programs of training management and training development in support of the Army-wide modernization and transformation efforts.
Develop training strategies that optimize training and identifies new training methodologies, concepts, systems, and techniques required to train and sustain designated units.
Develop and reviews inputs, based on long-range future training, to ensure programs are congruent with the milestones of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES).
Assign work based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments and capabilities of employees.
Evaluates work performance and prepares formal evaluations of employee performance.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel may be required up to 25%.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) planning and coordinating all phases of projects related to training and training development, 2) applying ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) to support the creation, design, development, implementation and evaluation of new training concepts, theories, strategies and/or training techniques for a training program, and 3) reviewing and implementing training management and training development regulations, objectives, strategies, programs, and digitization initiatives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
