The primary purpose of this position is to serve as group, manpower and personnel specialist; responsible for providing planning, scheduling, and organizing personnel assigned to the 497 ISRG.

Duties
DUTY 1: Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Mission Support. Develops goals and objective integrate organization and mission support objectives.
DUTY 2: Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with staff personnel, organizations commanders, key military and civilian personnel from various base and parent wing organizations and higher echelons.
DUTY 3: Provides expertise, authority, and advice on all aspects of the Human Resource programs.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- The employee must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
This is a GG-12 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-12 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-12 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Knowledge of military and civilian personnel management, manpower instructions, and policies and procedures, in order to serve as the primary advisor to the group commander and other senior staff members in the area of military, civilian, manpower and personnel management utilization. Also, knowledge of standardized research techniques, and analytical and problem-solving methods in order to plan, schedule, and conduct projects to evaluate current operations and make recommendations for improvement. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of a wide range of human resources programs, operations, directives, and procedures which include manpower, military and civilian personnel management and administration, education and training, and wartime readiness/deployment issues.
2. Knowledge and skill in the application and interpretation of DoD and Air Force management engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies common financial management directives, programming and budgeting concepts, procedures, guidance and policies.
3. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices and procedures.
4. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions, as well as mentor, motivate, and apprise the staff fa medium sized organization.
5. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust war' operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
6. Ability to communicate both orally and ·in writing, to gain cooperation from others through tact, diplomacy, and courtesy.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
