About the Position: This position serves as Management Analyst for Resource Management Office Manpower & Agreements Branch Fort Liberty NC performing a variety of analytical and evaluative work and participating in efficiency and economy studies/reviews.
Duties
Serves as Management Analyst performing a variety of analytical and evaluative work and participating in efficiency and economy studies/reviews of the Defense Regional Interservice Support (DRIS) base operational support categories.
Conducts management surveys and research projects and provides advisory services on substantive issues of moderate scope and impact to assess the effectiveness of program operations.
Manages the Directorate's management support agreements; i.e., MOUs, MOAs, and Interservice Support Agreements (ISSA) pertaining to the Directorate's objectives.
Plans, develops, and conducts internal review studies of related the functions of substantial technical complexity in a moderate sized organization.
Implements and executes the Directorate’s internal Management Control Plan (MCP), which is used to identify required checklist evaluations.
Serve as Garrison alternate Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for the government Travel Charge Card.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station. Must be willing and able to travel in military and commercial aircraft and vehicles.
- Incumbent may be required to work overtime/emergency basis.
- This position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements.

Specialized Experience: GS-11 One year of specialized experience which includes conducting management surveys and research projects; analyzing and advising on work methods and procedures of management. Experience providing advice and assistance to management concerning support agreements, Letters of Understanding and Memorandums as the supplier or receiver of installation base operation support. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
Specialized Experience: GS-12 One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing and providing advice and assistance concerning support agreements; conducting management surveys and research projects; assisting in the formulation of local procedures for inter service support; performing statistical research, cost analysis, and coordination in the development of support agreements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
