Duties
Manages the establishment and implementation of gaps and identified solutions during the Capability Analysis, Solution Identification and POM Development Process.
Serves as the senior program analyst in the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) (1st SFC(A), G8 and manages and leads the Strategic Planning and Programming (SPP) Division.
Conducts liaison and staff assistance visits with higher, and subordinate commands/activities and headquarters.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
- Position is subject to random drug testing.
- TDY Travel is required 10% of the time.
- THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position.
- Supervisory probationary period of one-year is required.
- One-year probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes serving as Senior Analyst managing and leading the Strategic Planning and Programming (SPP) Division. Responsible for the formulation, preparation, presentation, and administration of force integration policies, programs, and strategic long-range plans within imposed resources constraints; Reviewing, analyzing, coordinating, formulating developing, validating, prioritizing and providing input for operational and training requirements resourcing. Conducting in depth reviews of program sufficiency to meet mission requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
