About the Position: This position serves as a Management and Program Analyst with Headquarters, Army Materiel Command (HQ AMC) located in Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Duties

Supports the G-1 mission by providing recommendations on any personnel issues related to the hiring contractor personnel. Serves as primary G-1 Billing Official responsible for fulfilling all requirements based on FAR Regulations, AR-715-XX Army Contracting Command Acquisition Government Program Office guidelines, and HQ AMC internal business processes. Serves as the Primary Defense Travel System Administrator (DTSA) responsible for providing DTS assistance to HQ AMC G-1 personnel and reviewing travel orders and vouchers for accuracy prior to final approval. Meets with the assigned HQAMC G-8 Budget Analyst to discuss current year budget execution rates. Researches, develops, prepares, and/or assembles background data and documentation in support of G-1 internal programs.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
• A one year probation period may be required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified Position.
