You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (INFO SYSTEMS) in the HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE, HAWAII (HRO HI) of COMPACFLT HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE.
SALARY RANGES
GS-09: $32,517 - $81,272
GS-11: $75,640 - $98,330
Duties
You will serve as the HR Information Systems (HRIS) Specialist and technical authority on the implementation and operation of the Civilian Human Resources (HR) automated and related systems and apps in an HR environment that is complex and technical.
You will serve as the POC for designing, developing, updating and maintaining the HRO SharePoint and Webpage.
You will serve as HR Information Systems Coordinator, as an extension of PACFLT Headquarters N6.
You will establish and/or maintain various program files, position description libraries, instructions, and subject matter files.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing support by maintaining information in human resources (HR) automated systems; assisting users with navigating HR information systems; and utilizing different software such as excel, power point, access, to develop and provide customers with requested reports.
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector recommending best solutions to make human resources data and guidance available to customers through automated systems; and Designing and maintaining personnel databases and webpages that meets customer's needs.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For the GS-11 Grade level
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
Possession of an LL.M. that is related to this position being filled.
