You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the AMPHIBIOUS AUXILIARY & SEALIFT ACQUISITION Branch (Code 224) assigned to Landing Craft/Ship Platforms or IN-SERVICE SHIP & CROSS PLATFORM ENGINEERING Branch (Code 225) assigned to Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) within the MACHINERY PROGRAMS & PLATFORMS DEPT of NSWC PHILA DIV.
Duties
You will coordinate and plan programmatic meetings and program reviews, forecast workload demand and perform work acceptance and assignment.
You will formulate approaches and proposals to accomplish goals.
You will manage a consolidated list of metrics to account for cost, schedule and performance of planned and accomplished tasking.
You will utilize program and financial system tools such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS).
You will develop technical and managerial approaches and establish reporting and communication channels and schedules.
You will conduct stakeholder management, customer advocacy and foster organizational relationships.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating the management and analysis of an engineering project or program to ensure quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements are met.
