You will serve as a FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the NAWCWD Infrastructure and Business Operations (IBO) Department, Facilities Management and Coordination Division (Code DC53100) of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will develop requirements for facility modification, replacement, or construction. You will make recommendations based on analysis and findings in the facility allocation, use, modification, and acquisition processes. You will support the proper and timely execution of all NAWCWD facilities sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM) investments. You will perform in house wage grade construction and repair projects for NAWCWD activities.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/10) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Assisting with developing facility and equipment requirements based on customer needs; 2) Performing work related to facilities repair, maintenance, new construction, alternation projects, equipment replacement, and/or increases in services for facilities; 3) Demonstrated experience pertaining to various types of facilities project construction and management. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
