You will serve as a Supervisory Facilitiy Operations Specialist in the Facilities and Space Managment Division, Infrastructure Business Operations Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will serve as the Facility Operations Specialist for NAWCWD and work with NAVFAC, FEAD, NAWS, and NAWCWD leadership to solve facility and space related issues.
You will ensure the effective and efficient use of facility resources in relation to the organizational mission, as well as execution of construction projects from project induction through construction completion.
You will lead and supervise the DC53000 Division employees performing facility support and space management.
You will be responsible for professional development and mentoring, day-to-day tasking and coordination of activities.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrating experience in operations, sustainment, restoration, and modernization of simple and complex facilities; 2) Determining, evaluating, and analyzing facility requirements; 3) Demonstrating knowledge in building components, various types of project construction and project management; 4) Understanding of space management, space moves, relocation, and develop move and space plans; 5) Developing facility and equipment requirements against customer needs and developing project scopes; 6) Demonstrating experience in all aspects of facility operations and maintenance as well as project development, managing complex facility issues, resolving conflicts and monitoring projects.
