You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

You will prepare and revise complex Financial Forecasting that will support highly technical contract requirements for logistics requirements. You will review and evaluates multiple contractor deliverables to ensure accordance with contract requirements and provide accept/reject recommendations within the time frames indicated in the contract. You will serve as a logistics member during proposal development and evaluations, ensuring the proper and timely development of all logistics planning documents, including the Acquisition Strategy You will provide guidance and feedback to contractors on logistics subject areas such as technical manuals, supply support, training materials, logistics data, and initial spare/repair parts.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Performing support work with responsibility for planning, logistic analysis, and coordination for a portion of a major system's acquisition and transfer into operational use or for a subsystem or group of like smaller systems. 2) Performing technical duties in reviewing material, equipment, or systems for compliance with specifications for evaluation in terms of operational use; related to shipping, transportation, and material disposition. 3) Reviewing technical aspects of applications, designs, or proposed plans for compliance with laws, regulations, standards, and specifications. **NOTE** This information must be clearly supported in your resume. To qualify for the GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree

Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
