You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV Air Systems Group, Supply Division, Supply Support Branch (NAWCADPAX) supporting PMA-290 Supply program of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

You will develop an integrated logistical support (ILS) plan to support aviation weapons systems or subsystems programs. You will analyze logistics procedures to support and sustain aircraft systems products. You will analyze data collected to determine impact on material readiness and equipment accountability.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Demonstrating knowledge of Supply Support process initiation to include interaction requirements between NAVSUP and the program office; Product Support Activities that impact Supply Sparing, provisioning technical data, Spares Modeling requirements, Repair of Repairable during Testing, Interim Supply Period, BAM/APN-6 Funding Process, and post-MSD requirements. 2. Utilizing methods and techniques to obtain the highest level of asset availability to improved readiness and reduced operations and support costs. 3. Planning, implementation, and execution of modification programs and maintenance programs as related to supply support.
