You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Command Department (00), In-Service Radar Program Management (PM2) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Duties
You will serve as Deputy Program Manager to oversee business review, management controls, financial management, contract involvement, and management information systems.
You will serve as Deputy to the NSWC Rotating Radar Program Office -Work in close coordination with Radar and Electronic Warfare (EW) product APMs.
You will review spend plans and cost estimates including 7300s.
You will review budget products, ensure consistency, set schedules, and set standard products and product schedule.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating project resource requirements to develop, plan, and execute project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of program operations.
