Duties

You will help support the planning, execution, and monitoring the execution of Corrective Action Plans (CAP) You will help develop lower level project plans/Plans of Actions and Milestones You will execute multiple work streams at any one time with different process performers You will help facilitate discovery efforts and complete root cause analysis You will conduct process walkthroughs and document the as- is process to identify existing gaps and risks You will brief senior leadership at key milestones to apprise them of team efforts

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a Financial Management Level 02 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate that you have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public performing financial management analysis using knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing to perform the following:1) Supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring the execution of Corrective Action Plans (CAP), 2) Helping to develop lower level project plans/Plans of Actions and Milestones, 3) Executing multiple work streams at any one time with different process performers, 4) Assisting with facilitating discovery efforts and completing root cause analysis, 5) Conducting process walkthroughs and documenting the as-is process to identify existing gaps and risks, 6) Briefing senior leadership at key milestones to apprise them of team efforts Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
