You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the NAVSUP Headquarters in the Task Force (TF) Community.
Duties
You will serve as the principal advisor to senior management and have the responsibility for developing/presenting briefings to various levels of leadership for effective evaluation of business process recommendations and milestones
You will be responsible for analyzing the current supply chain environment.
You will develop and implement supply chain procedures to ensure alignment with higher level guidance, rewriting policies as applicable.
You will provide IT logistics and supply system programmer guidance in the procedural, technical, and planning aspects of applicable automated systems and practices pertaining to new and/or improved business processes.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume should demonstrate one year of specialized Supply System Analyst experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating current business processes and proposed improvements to address business process gaps and improve supply chain effectiveness. You have experience identifying new innovative strategies and alternative business process solutions that take into account long-term efficiency enhancements to IT systems. You evaluate the impact of those changes in policy and/or technical improvements, extract data, identify and summarize significant business trends and issues. This work involves high-level analysis of data, the creation of ad hoc and standard reports, data management & validation, and data exports, which is accomplished by utilizing products that apply data mining such as Statistical Analysis Software (SAS), Advana Jupiter, Microsoft Access, or other related products. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Creating and collecting data that is processed and analyzed for various testing efforts, special projects, and used to determine policy related decisions; 2) Reviewing various sources of data to determine trend analysis and differences within multiple Business Logistics Applications (BLA) used; 3) Coordinating and managing the flow of data both vertically and horizontally across several organizations; and 4)Developing/briefing data to various levels of NAVSUP Enterprise leadership.
