About the Position: Serves as Secretary of the General Staff for the US Army Joint Munitions Command (JMC) and performs a wide variety of administrative, logistical, personnel management, document control, automation, and integration activities in support of the Command Group.
Duties
Advise on technical and administrative matters relating to the accomplishment, coordination and disposition of substantive administrative and managerial staff actions and assignments.
Oversee a variety of actions characterized by unique requirements that demand continuous oversight and provides administrative coordination for staff actions and correspondence.
Interface with contacts to ensure missions, processes and organizational relationships provide direction for all operations, activities and projects.
Use automated information management systems, internal and external tracking systems, and electronic mail handling systems to access, review, organize, and communicate information, expediting critical information to senior level leadership.
Provide expert advice and assistance in the planning, organizing and execution of significant and diverse social events for the Command.
Requirements
- Position requires incumbent employee to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- TDY or business travel up to 5% may be required.
