Duties

Coordinate with the Tobyhanna Army Depot's organizational elements on new construction, alteration, and maintenance projects for facilities. Assist in the preparation of technical and administrative project submittal documentation in accordance with Army regulations. Develop a wide variety of designs including drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates within architectural and engineering disciplines. Act as the Contracting Officers Representative for construction and service contracts.

GS-08 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Preparing preliminary drawings and models to meet design intent, 2) assisting in the preparation of documentation related to operational plans or designs, and 3) assisting in quality control inspections of completed projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: One and a half years of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as engineering, construction, or industrial technology. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. OR Education: Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as engineering, construction, or industrial technology. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
