You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Aircraft Instrumentation Division (AID), Prototyping, Instrumentation and Experimentation Department (PIE), and Digital Analytics Infrastructure and Technology Advancement Group (DAiTA) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
The duty location of this position is Patuxent River, Maryland.
Duties
You will present conclusions based on analysis to managers.
You will identify program risks, problems, issues, and concerns to formulate mitigation plans or corrective strategies.
You will consult with site and organizational leaders on continuous process improvement (CPI) implementation or execution issues.
You will propose initiatives to improve an organization's effectiveness or efficiency in meeting tasking requirements.
You will interpret or develop evaluation policy or procedures for an organization.
You will develop Statements Of Work and cost estimates.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Managing aircraft instrumentation installation projects;
2) Demonstrating a thorough understanding of program management tools, aircraft wiring standards, instrumentation design, and flight clearance approvals;
3) Presenting the status of projects to management and customers;
4) Developing and monitoring schedules for ground and flight test support based on squadron and program requirements; and
5) Mitigating program risks through the use of workload, budget, and schedule metrics/tools.
