You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Naval Air Station of FRC DET MIDLANT PAX RIVER MD MPN.

Duties

You will influence managers or other officials to implement recommendations for organizational improvement. You will gather and organize information on administrative issues and procedures. You will use Microsoft Office products to create analytical models for evaluating administrative operations. You will develop written process improvement recommendations to align with an organization's vision, goals, policies, and objectives. You will discuss program improvement recommendations with managers. You will establish priorities and procedures to complete administrative studies within desired timeframes.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Managing all administrative and personnel processes. 2) Handling formal and informal correspondence. 3) Coordinating meetings and appointments for the Maintenance Officer, Deputy Director, Assistant Maintenance Officer, and Senior Enlisted Leader 4) Evaluating and advising on the administrative support systems such as records, communications, directives, forms, files, and documentation. 5) Providing managers with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative aspects of agency operations and management. 6) Providing support to the Maintenance Officer in all administrative tracking as requested. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if related
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
