You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY/SPAWAR SYSTEMS COMMAND of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will provide expert technical and programmatic advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and stakeholders on critical IT issues.
You will develop, implement, and ensure compliance with plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures that establish the framework for the management of all IT programs.
You will lead and complete multidimensional, complex tasks with multiple dependencies independently, mentor others regularly ensuring appropriate succession, and lead others to accomplish complex, cross-organizational goals.
You will act as the IPT lead for all Command, Control, Communications, Computer Information, Surveillance Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Cyber Systems Installations in the Pacific Area of Responsibility in support of NIWC PAC Installation Execution.
You will lead who is responsible for all project documentation; the execution of all project management instruction; prepare project reviews; measure and report project and process performance; Maintain project compliance with policies and processes

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 level ADVANCED within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Manage Installation processes, procedures and resources; advise on process improvements relevant to Command, Control, Communications, Computer Information, Surveillance Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Cyber Systems Installations. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
