You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Comptroller Group, Business and Financial Operations Department, PEO & HQ Project Support Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will execute funds following all fiscal laws and regulations and applying financial laws and regulations to provide advice on sources and uses of funds.
You will ensure funds are being executed properly through all stages of encumbrance and evaluate changes in plans and propose new course of action to mitigate deviation from plan.
You will communicate orally and in writing and resolve team conflict in a positive manner while maintaining or increasing team morale.
You will review reports, documentation, records, data and other materials to monitor and control obligations and expenditures.
You will provide advice to team members, participate in peer-to-peer learning and mentorship.
You will extract data from Business objects and developing spend plans and budgetary requirements with limited assistance.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a Financial Management Level 02 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following. Examples of specialized experience include: 1)Demonstrate working knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing; 2) Demonstrating working knowledge of planning, formulation, execution of program's resources and budget requirements; 3) Extracting data from Business objects and developing spend plans and budgetary requirements with limited assistance; 4) Executing funds following all fiscal laws and regulations and applying financial laws and regulations to provide advice on sources and uses of funds; and 5) Analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's program and administrative operations.
