You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Command Evaluation Office (Code 007) of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties

You will coordinate meetings and visits for all external audits at NAVSUP WSS. The incumbent assesses auditors’ needs and plans and makes arrangements for entrance and exit briefs with the Commanding Officer, and the general conduct of the audit. You will schedule with NAVSUP WSS personnel and auditors to avoid conflicts, and will notify NAVSUP WSS Security, management, and organizational components of scheduled visits. You will lead strategy sessions to coordinate and obtain agreement for multi-departmental participation in efforts to respond to recommendations and findings. You will serve as a NAVSUP WSS focal point and investigator for Fraud, Waste, Abuse, and Misconduct Hotline Complaints. You will maintain records, data, and documentation as back-up information and an audit trail for assigned investigations and prepare the response for signature by the Commanding Officer.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public utilizing interpersonal relations skills including the ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, persuasiveness, and mediation and negotiating skills. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Reviewing, evaluating, analyzing, and communicating audit findings and recommendations accuracy, relevance, and impact; 2) Negotiating schedules with personnel and auditors to avoid conflicts, and will notify security, management, and organizational components of scheduled visits; 3) Leading strategy sessions to coordinate and obtain agreement for multi-departmental participation in efforts to respond to recommendations and findings; and 4) Receiving, reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating reports of audits held at other commands to determine applicability to operations and assigning pertinent sections of those audits to cognizant departments and divisions for action.
