Duties

Conducts studies on full level capabilities (housing/billeting, training sites, equipment, etc.) of the installation in support of established mobilization requirements. Assists the Command in the formulation of command guidance and instructions in the area of mobilization operations. Assures the adequacy of plans given by the Command for mobilization purposes. Serves as a staff specialist on all aspects of contingency mobilization planning.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • May be required to serve on permanent or rotating shifts and is subject to work nights/weekends/recalls and/or extensive overtime.
  • Temporary duty travel may be required approximately 5% of the time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position.
  • In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
  • This position requires a secret clearance.
