You will serve as a OFFICE MANAGER or SENIOR OFFICE MANAGER in the RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT GROUP, SPECTRUM WARFARE DEPT, AIRCRAFT & SPECTRUM INTEGR ENVIRO DIV of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties

You will be responsible for the development and processing of the travel orders and vouchers through Defense Travel Systems (DTS). You will complete all facets of official travel (foreign and domestic) including orders, reservations in coordination with the traveler as well as assist employees with travel request and voucher problems. You will create and process documentation required for official visits – (visit requests, foreign travel memo, long-term memos, badge request etc.).

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

(GS-06): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Generating and processing requests through computer-based tools (e.g., travel orders and credit card purchases); 2) Utilizing office automation equipment (e.g., copiers and printers) and software such as Microsoft Office; 3) Processing incoming and outgoing mail, supplies, packages; 4) Utilizing excel to maintain and track required information (e,g., supply status, data calls, and muster lists). (GS-05): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Assisting with generating and processing requests through computer-based tools (e.g., travel orders and credit card purchases); 2) Utilizing office automation equipment (e.g., copiers and printers) and software such as Microsoft Office; 3) Processing incoming and outgoing mail, supplies, packages; 4) Assisting with maintaining and tracking information (e,g., supply status, data calls, and muster lists) utilizing Excel. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
