Duties

Serve as an Engineering Technician for the Industrial Operations Facility with responsibility for the design, operation, maintenance, modification, test, and improvement of industrial facilities, equipment, devices, operations, and processes. Perform scientific tests and experiments for mission related chemical operations. Engage in the day-to-day operations of assigned segments of a large prototypical state-of-the-art Industrialized Operations Facility for metal finishing, electroplating, painting, surface finishing, and wastewater treatment operations. Troubleshoot complex problems related to the above systems/sub-systems by studying, analyzing, and considering several possible courses of action, techniques or designs and selecting the most appropriate.

OR Combination of Education and Specialized Experience: I have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have more than one year but less than the required education in B. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
